Does The Peavey Audio Performer Pack Have Everything Needed For A Small-Scale Performance?
A speaker system is a must for any performer and the Peavey Audio Performer Pack promises to be a great starting point for any performer looking to be heard in a small venue.
There are essentially two main elements to this PA system package, the mixer and the speaker set up.
The product provides a Pvi 4B mixer and two matching PVi 10 10″ speaker enclosures with stands. There are also two PVi 100 dynamic microphones.
Do they all work well together or is there a weak link that limits the overall appeal of the product?
What benefits have buyers noted when testing out this Peavey Audio Performer Speaker and Mixer Pack?
Starting with the speaker system, there are sure to be high hopes of any set up that include two sizeable speakers and the stands to go with them. These stands are adjustable for the best set-up for the space.
The PA sound system is designed to offer “powerful sound to small performances”, which means a clear, professional edge to low-key performances in schools, coffee shops and churches. Buyers are impressed with the quality of the sound. The power is definitely there but it doesn’t register too high on the decibel level or produce much distortion. It is clear, clean and nice to listen to.
The mixer is the more crucial element as this controls the output through those speakers. This unit has rotary controls for the level, tone and reverb on each available channel. There are inputs for tape/CD, microphones and a line out for external amps.
Many have also been able to hook up a laptop with the right wires. On this note, there is also a fair amount praise for the quality of the additional cables, microphones and other elements in the system. Some have used better microphones, but many have also used worse.
What downsides have been mentioned in user reviews for this Portable Peavey PA System Package?
There are a number of personal preferences about this system that buyers have mentioned in their feedback. For example, some would have liked to have seen a HDMI input but agree that it is not a necessity.
Others would have liked an extra inch or two on the height of the stand. Some have commented on the noise produced, saying that the fan is a little loud and can be off-putting. Other than that, there appear to be no major criticisms to be concerned with.
Summary: does this positive feedback mean that the Peavey Audio PVi Performer Pack is highly recommended for all small-scale performers?
Many users are happy to recommend it as it performs to their requirements, but there is no wow factor about any of the functions. In the end, it performs just enough functions with a good level of sound quality for the price paid.
This Peavey PA system is just enough for your average motivational speaker in a church hall or budding acoustic singer-songwriter. Many will upgrade when the time comes, but it does the job for the time being.

i found that the 10″ speakers distort even at a low volume. and the reverb level feedback also at low levels.
